Musings regarding Mrs. Brady
I was channel surfing the other day and watched a bit of the Brady Bunch. So nice to go back to those simpler days. But it got me thinking - what did Mrs. Brady DO all day? Alice was the live-in help - she did the cooking, shopping, cleaning, etc. You see Mrs. Brady hanging around, but never really doing anything except bug the kids and say "Oh Mike!". Sheesh - how did she get that gig? Sign me up!

I was watching an episode of The Surreal Life the other day, and I think Mrs. Brady spent her day being a self-righteous pain in the ass to other people. She informed another individual on that show that her life was (and I paraphrase lightly) "fenced in by pornography" and refused to take part in anything that parodied nuns. So...I think there are several Republican/Christian women's groups you could join that would help you to be like Mrs. Brady - and I think all of them lean heavily on Dan'l being the bread winner of the family, so you would be staying home (even though Florence herself obviously didn't take that path).
