Children's Festival at Landmark Center - Winter Carnival 2011

Conner & I ventured downtown St. Paul for the Children's Festival at the Landmark Center this afternoon. It was PACKED and somewhat lame. He jumped in a bouncehouse, took some photos with various characters and spun a wheel to get a pencil. The more exciting part was wandering around the building - beautiful! We also tried to see the ice statues, but it was packed with people & impossible to move, so we decided to go back another time...

Here is Conner with what I think is a rabbit?

Your obsession with going to children's events that are packed never ceases to amaze me. If someone bumps into me, I'm generally likely never to go there again, if I made it in the front door in the first place. In some respects, I'm very antisocial.

We actually spent very little time in the "official" event area. We took off upstairs away from the crowd and enjoyed the musical instrument gallery and the architectural tour.
