Seeing Santa

This morning we took the kids to see Santa, Mrs. Claus and Jingle the Elf at the Jackson Street Roundhouse (thanks to Allison for the referral!). It was fun - lots of old trains inside to walk through and a chance to see Santa arrive on the caboose and then take a short ride on the train.

Had Conner's birthday party on Saturday afternoon at Grand Slam. He had 8 friends come, out of 13 invited, which was just fine with me! You wouldn't think it's a lot of work trying to coordinate a birthday party at a place where the kids can just run around and have fun, but when 2 parents drop off their kids and then both decide to be anti-social at various points and I spend time wandering around trying to be sure they are still in the building, in addition to checking on my own kid, the other parents, getting the pizza order in, cake cut, presents out, pictures taken, etc, I was pooped!

Conner claimed to have a good time, which made it all worth it! Sort of.... :-)
